How do we calculate the cost of your furniture move?
There’s no fixed price for moving furniture, and anyone who gives you a number before knowing your furniture volume and the moving distance is either guessing or will change it later. On this page we explain the three factors that actually set the price, so you know what you’re paying for and can compare quotes with sound judgment, not by the number alone.

Factor one: furniture volume
This has the biggest impact. But note: the number of rooms is a rough indicator, not a precise measure — a two-bedroom apartment packed with furniture can exceed a half-furnished three-bedroom one. What really matters is the volume in cubic meters, which we estimate during the survey.

- Number of rooms and property type — apartment, floor, villa or studio
- How densely furnished it actually is — a full bedroom set differs from a room with a bed and a wardrobe
- Large appliances — fridge, washing machine, air conditioners, TVs
- Items that need disassembly and reassembly — wardrobes, beds, kitchens
- Delicate items — glass, mirrors, antiques, paintings
- The storeroom or roof — many people forget what’s in them until moving day

Factor two: distance within the city
Moves within a city aren’t all equal. Moving from north Riyadh to the south takes far more time and fuel than moving within the same neighborhood or between two adjacent districts in north Riyadh. And time here isn’t a luxury — it’s hours of a full crew and a vehicle.

🚚 A factor many overlook: truck access
A narrow street that a truck can’t enter means carrying furniture by hand for an extra distance. And a fifth-floor building with no elevator is different from a ground floor with a wide entrance. We account for this during the survey and tell you before agreement, not after.
Factor three: moving between cities
Intercity moves differ fundamentally from local moves: a longer distance, more fuel, and a full working day or more for the crew and vehicle. Cities close to Riyadh differ clearly from distant ones.

What does the price include?
Our quote is written and states every item clearly — and what the price doesn’t include is listed too. These services are agreed with you during the survey and go up or down depending on your choice:
Full packing with quality materials — blankets, stretch film and cartons for fragile items. Or partial packing if you choose to pack some items yourself.
Dismantling wardrobes and beds and numbering the parts, then reassembling them in place at the destination. The number of items that need disassembly affects the time and the price.
An enclosed vehicle sized to your furniture volume, with tie-down straps, blankets and dollies. The vehicle size is set by volume, not by guesswork.
We remove cartons and wrapping after assembly and leave the place clean — at no extra charge.
Why don’t we publish a fixed price list?
Because any number we publish would be wrong in most cases. A two-bedroom apartment on the first floor with a wide entrance is completely different from a two-bedroom apartment on the fifth floor with no elevator on a narrow street — and the same number can’t fit both.
Anyone who publishes “apartment move: X riyals” is doing one of two things: either putting a low number to attract you and raising it at the survey, or putting a high number that covers every possibility, so you pay more than your situation warrants.
We prefer a third way: a free survey, then a written price specific to your situation that doesn’t change after agreement.
How to compare quotes wisely
If you’re comparing us with others — and that’s your right — ask everyone these five questions, and the difference will be clear right away:
- Is the price written or verbal? A verbal price changes on moving day.
- What doesn’t the price include? The most important question — and the one most companies dodge.
- Did they survey the furniture or price it over the phone? Phone pricing is guesswork.
- Who actually does the work? The company’s own crew or laborers hired for the day?
- Is there a VAT invoice? Having one means a registered entity that can be held accountable.
