Temporary Furniture Storage
Temporary Storage for Your Furniture — When Moving Out and Moving In Don’t Line Up
Your lease ends before your new home is ready, or you’re traveling for months, or you’re renovating. In these cases you don’t need a rushed decision — you need a safe temporary place that keeps your furniture until it’s time.
When do you need storage?
📅 A gap between two leases
Your lease ends weeks before the new home is handed over — the most common and most pressing case.
🔨 Renovation or maintenance
You need to clear the home so the workers can do their job freely, then bring the furniture back when they’re done.
✈️ Travel or study abroad
You’re away for a while and don’t want to pay rent on an empty home the whole time.
📦 Surplus that won’t fit
Your new home is smaller and you want to keep items you don’t want to sell.
🌍 Before international shipping
Your shipment is ready and waiting for the container date or for documents to be completed.
🏢 Offices & companies
Archives, office furniture or seasonal stock that doesn’t need permanent space.
How do we store your furniture?
Storage isn’t just parking furniture in a warehouse. The wrong way causes more damage than the move itself — because the damage here builds up silently over months.
Heat and humidity are the enemies of wooden and leather furniture. A non-air-conditioned warehouse can crack wood, dry out leather and cause mold in upholstery within months.
We never store an item uncovered. Every item is packed as if it were being shipped — because dust that settles over months is harder to deal with than a single day’s dust.
Furniture isn’t placed directly on the floor but on pallets. Mirrors and screens stand on their edges, exactly as in transport.
A list of everything you’ve stored — one copy with us and one with you. So handover is accurate and doesn’t depend on memory months later.
Secure, monitored warehouses that only authorized staff can enter. Your belongings are kept separate and labeled with your name.
💡 What saves you money in storage
Storage costs are based on space and duration. Getting rid of what you don’t need before storing saves more than haggling over the price — there’s no point paying months of rent to keep what you’ll never use.
What we don’t store
For safety reasons and to protect the other contents:
- Flammable materials and gases — exactly as in transport
- Food and perishable items — they attract insects and spoil what’s around them
- Live plants — they can’t survive in a closed warehouse
- Jewelry, cash and original documents — keep them in a bank safe deposit box
