Door-to-door moving and car shipping from Makkah to Jordan means handing us the key to your home in Makkah and receiving it in Amman, Irbid, Zarqa or Aqaba with the furniture assembled in its rooms. Between the two doors lie about 1,300 to 1,500 kilometres north — on the coastal road to Aqaba or via Madinah and Tabuk to Amman — and many stages: collection that respects Makkah’s rules, packing, export via Fasah, two border crossings, clearance with the embassy list, transport inside Jordan, then carrying up the stairs of stone houses and reassembly.

📌 A two-day trip
The truck usually covers the road in two days with an overnight near the border, then crosses in the morning and delivers on day three.
📌 Winter on the road
In winter temperatures drop sharply in Tabuk and southern Jordan, and snow can fall on high roads near Ma’an and Shobak. We watch the weather and delay departure by a day when needed.
The furniture exemption for returning Jordanian expatriates
A Jordanian expatriate returning for good may be entitled to an exemption on used furniture and effects, under conditions set by Jordan Customs, most notably:
✔A Jordanian citizen who has lived outside Jordan for at least a year.
✔Residence in Saudi Arabia has been cancelled (final exit).
✔The items are used household and personal items, not commercial.
✔A list of the items certified by the Jordanian embassy is submitted.
⚠️ The exemption does not cover everything
It covers customs duty on used items, not administrative fees at the crossings or shipping charges, and new items are treated differently. Conditions may be updated; we review your file before shipping.
Matching the list with the embassy list
We write the inventory list by numbered pieces and boxes and match it with the list the embassy certifies, so what is in the truck does not differ from the certified list at inspection at the Jordanian border.

Delivery and reassembly in Jordan
Mistakes that disrupt door-to-door moves
✔An offer that excludes carrying and reassembly: you find out at the foot of your Amman stairs.
✔Shipping a diesel car: diesel passenger cars are banned in Jordan.
✔A list that does not match the embassy list: a long inspection at the border.
✔Moving at peak season: rules and crowds in Makkah.
✔Not mentioning the floor and stairs: too small a crew on delivery day.
✔Items inside the shipped car: delay it at the border.
Before leaving Makkah: handing over the home
After loading we remove cardboard and waste and leave the home empty, and you photograph it after vacating to record its condition when handing it to the owner. Time your departure on the final exit visa after loading, so export documents are filed while your residence is valid.
Temporary storage
If your home in Jordan is not ready, or you are waiting for the end of the school year, we keep your furniture in an air-conditioned warehouse. Details on our temporary storage page.
